If you sell goods or services in India and your turnover crosses GST registration limits, you need proper tax invoices — not just a handwritten bill. A GST invoice is your proof of sale and the basis for input tax credit for your buyer.
What a valid GST invoice must include
- Supplier name, address, and GSTIN
- Invoice number and date
- Customer name, address, and GSTIN (if registered)
- Description of goods/services with HSN/SAC
- Taxable value, CGST/SGST or IGST, and total
- Place of supply for interstate sales
Step 1 — Set up your business profile
Add your legal business name, address, state, and GSTIN under Settings. This information appears on every PDF so you do not retype it for each sale.
Step 2 — Add customers and items once
Create customers with billing addresses and GSTIN. Build an item catalog with rates and HSN codes. Reuse them on every invoice instead of copying from old PDFs.
Step 3 — Create the invoice and download PDF
Pick a customer, add line items, review CGST/SGST or IGST, and save. Download a branded PDF or share it directly. Use Reports → GST when you need a period summary.
